Sector Master

The most important task of SectorMaster as a component of the SmarTrace Infrastructure is the control and power supply of the Anchor UWBs and Anchor BLEs, as well as maintaining the communication connection with the Server. The SectorMaster is the only component of the SmarTrace Infrastructure that must be connected to the site’s 230 V and LAN network.

Connect Box

The task of the ConnectBox is to implement the functions necessary to match the information that can be extracted from different sources and formats, and in some cases to control the vehicle (e.g.: Forklifts).

ConnectBox is also suitable for connecting other components (e.g. Card reader) and for aggregating and pre-processing data they provide, and thus for autonomous intervention (even independent of the Server) according to more complex rules (e.g. limiting the speed of the forklift in the event of a collision).

Anchor UWB

The Anchor UWB element of the SmarTrace Infrastructure provides the spatial reference against which the position of the SmarTagg UWB units can be determined. Anchor UWB is capable of two-way communication with SmarTagg UWB units, resulting in, among other things, their position within the covered area.

*The effective range is the maximum distance within which the Anchor UWB units are able to determine the position of the tags according to the required accuracy with the maximum transmission power density allowed for UWB technology.

SmarTagg UWB

The SmarTagg UWB units are the components of the system whose position can be tracked by the SmarTrace Infrastructure. Accordingly the SmarTagg UWB units must be physically and logically assigned to the tracked objects. SmarTagg UWB units can be charged wirelessly using wireless charging stations, so they do not have any sockets, buttons or contacts that could wear out due to increased use, and cleaning them is also significantly easier. As a result, the tags can be recharged and used in the same way years later.

Wireless Charger

The wireless charging station is used to charge SmarTaggs based on the induction principle. Wireless charging greatly simplifies the activities related to the replacement of SmarTaggs, as it is sufficient to place them in the recesses designed for them to start charging automatically.
