Stock Counter Gate ?

The Pozi.tech SCG solution is an effective digital support tool for service and logistics operations requiring large-scale unique product identification, with quality assurance of storage and delivery tasks. With built in RFID readers the RFID gates identify the products passing through the gate using the RFID tags on them.

The main technical limitation of RFID is less then 100% reading accuracy in the case of typically densely packed products pushed through the gate on carts. In order to manage this limitation, we use additional readers. The readers are installed at designated reference points in the logistics process and ensure multiple readings of the handled goods. By using gates and additional readers together, reading gaps can be minimized. The SCG solution handles identification data from different data sources uniformly and corrects the effect of incomplete readings at the database level.

Due to the specialties of RFID technology, system planning must be carried out for each new customer and operating system in order to ensure the appropriate service level. Before applying the solution, it is necessary:

Getting to know the physical implementation of the supported processes
Getting to know the operating area/layout
Getting to know the physical characteristics of the products treated in the supported process
If necessary, modify the operational process control

In all cases, the application of the solution is based on pre-surveys and feasibility studies. Based on these, it can be decided whether the technology can be applied to the given process.

Counter gate
